Steinberg’s sometimes racy, usually anti-establishment position from the late 60s/early 70s made him a favourite among the adolescent and disillusioned. Steinberg released four single humor albums and CBS offered him his personal summer comedy range series using the David Steinberg Display (1972). In 1976, Steinberg came back to Canada to produce and celebrity in another series, also known as _’The David Steinberg Display’. In the 90s, he became the professional producer of the favorite CBS-TV Designing Females (1986) and continuing to direct. Various other Television credits as movie director include episodes from the Golden Young ladies (1985), _Seinfeld(1990)_ , Mad About You (1992), Weeds(2005)_, and _Curb your Passion(2000)_. He gained two Emmy Honours for his composing on Oscar telecasts in the first 90s.
