Mini Biography

Delivered in 1921, Eric Rogers’ desire for music began young. A normal churchgoer, he was trained to try out the church body organ at age 13. His musical apprenticeship was a mainly untutored one. Through the Second Globe War, Rogers discovered himself playing the piano in substitution for free beer! Following war, Rogers create his very own orchestra, playing in the Orchid Area at London’s Trocadero. His popularity grew and he was steadily offered some careers scripting incidental music for movies. Later successes had been composing the theme for the greatly popular Sunday Evening on the Palladium, and transcribing Lionel Bart’s records for Oliver!
