Blessed in Kokomo, Indiana on Feb 15, 1928, illustrator/cartoonist Norman Bridwell provides written more than 120 books on children’s beloved “Clifford the best Red Pup”. He proceeds to write typically 2 books a calendar year. After being informed his illustrations of Clifford had been too normal, a critic recommended he write a tale to go with them to greatly help to market the illustrations. He composed a tale and posted it to a submitting firm. Three weeks afterwards, the publisher known as and stated they wished to release his work. More than 40 years afterwards, Clifford “the best Red Pup” is constantly on the “grow” with an increase of books, tv shows and films! More than 44 million copies of his books are released in lots of different dialects for children all around the globe.
